Londonderry Seeks Volunteer for NH Planning Commission

Londonderry officials are looking for residents to join the Southern NH Planning Commission.

LONDONDERRY, NH - Londonderry officials are looking for residents to join the Southern NH Planning Commission.

The Commission was formed under the New Hampshire Statutes in 1966. SNHPC serves as the coordinating agency for the planning initiatives of fourteen communities in the region.

"By taking a regional approach to address development concerns, we can attempt to craft effective and efficient solutions that will preserve the special character and valuable resources of the region," a release for the Commission said.

The Town of Londonderry is seeking an alternate volunteer to serve on the Southern New Hampshire Planning Commission (SNHPC). Interested parties must be a resident of Londonderry to apply for the position.

The SNHPC meets every month on the fourth Tuesday. Meetings take place at the SNHPC office in Manchester at 11:30 AM.
