Londonderry Welcomes Popular Music Duo Back to Town

We again welcome recording artists Ken Yates and Brian Dunne. They both performed for Concerts On The Common last year, and we wanted to get them back for an encore! Brian Dunne was part of Boston’s music scene for many years before moving to New York City. His pop/rock style is widely influenced by Sam Cooke, Tom Waits and Bruce Springsteen. A simplicity and devotion to his music making craft is what makes Brian’s music so authentic and addicting.

Ken went to Berklee School of Music, and, writes songs that are…well, as John Mayer puts it, “Want to hear a great song? (I mean a REALLY great song?)”. Ken just came out with a new CD, and it is spectacular. Ken’s performance is not to be missed.

4. On the agenda. The lone Londonderry municipal or school district meeting on this week's schedule is a Town Council meeting this Thursday at 7 p.m. Among items to be discussed, acting Londonderry Town Manager Bill Hart will provide an update on the town manager search and the council will also discuss a Tax Increment Finance (TIF) district.
