Londonderry's Mack's Apples Hosts Black Lives Matter Rally
Nearly 300 people came together at a peaceful rally at Mack's Apple Orchard to share their message about Black Lives Matter movement.
LONDONDERRY, NH — An estimated 300 people gathered at Mack's Apple orchard in Londonderry Friday to show their support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
The peaceful rally was attended by a wide range of ages sharing their messages from a microphone set up in the parking lot of Mack's Apple Orchard.
Londonderry Police Chief Bill Hart was one of the first to speak to the crowd. He said changes needed to be made to improve policing, and acknowledged many of the items being advocated by the group.

Several presenters took the microphone sharing their message and rallying the crowd.
At one point the crowd knelt for a moment of silence remembering those who have lost their lives to police brutality.

Londonderry Police, New Hampshire State Police, Rockingham County Sheriff units, and area towns stood by on area roads to assure safety for all.
The rally was peaceful, and lasted about 1.5 hours.
