Man Charged With Murdering Londonderry Woman

William Argie, 46, has been arrested on a murder charge stating he killed his wife Maureen Argie, 39, at their home in Londonderry in April.

LONDONDERRY, NH — A Londonderry man has been charged with murdering his wife Maureen Argie in April. William Argie, 46, was arrested on two second-degree murder charges stating he killed his 39-year-old wife Maureen at their Londonderry home on April 4, according to the Attorney General's Office. Maureen's death has been under investigation after police found her body while checking on her welfare that day.

According to the Attorney General's Office, William was charged with two alternative counts of second-degree murder. One states that he knowingly caused her death by strangling or smothering her. The other states he recklessly caused her death under circumstances showing extreme indifference to the value of human life, by strangling or smothering her.

William is scheduled for arraignment at Rockingham County Superior Court on Monday.
