Man Injured After Crashing Vehicle Into Derry Dry Cleaner
A Subaru crashed into the Manchester Road business that was open, at the time. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital.
DERRY, NH — Derry police, and fire were dispatched to a vehicle that had driven into a building at 11 Manchester Road just before noon on Wednesday.
While en route, they were advised the person in the vehicle was injured and possibly needed extrication.
Derry Fire arrived to find a Subaru inside a dry cleaning business in a shopping plaza. The driver of the vehicle was still in the vehicle and was removed by firefighters and transported by Derry ambulance to Parkland Medical Hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The building was examined for structural integrity before the vehicle was removed. It was deemed safe to remove the vehicle, and a local tow company using a flatbed truck removed the vehicle.

Workers at the dry cleaning business, who were inside at the time of the crash, were not injured. They worked to remove dry cleaning items that surrounded the vehicle and broken glass.
Derry police are investigating the accident and confirmed a single male occupant was driving and was transported to the hospital.
