Man Seriously Injured In Crash Involving A Motorcycle And FedEx Truck

LONDONDERRY, NH — Londonderry police are investigating an accident involving a FedEx truck and a motorcycle at the intersection of Pettengill Road and Raymond Wieczorek Drive on Tuesday.

Londonderry police and fire were already at the scene of a different accident involving a three-vehicle accident in the area of Route 102 and Exit 4 when the call came in for the accident involving the motorcycle and truck. Dispatchers worked to allocate resources to the second accident, which involved a patient suffering serious injuries. Fire, police, and EMS worked to close the intersection and treat a motorcycle rider down in the roadway.

A trauma alert was activated for the Elliot Hospital for a man with multi-system trauma, and Londonderry EMTs transported the man. The truck driver was medically evaluated at the scene and did not require transport to the hospital.

Parts of the intersection are expected to be closed for an extended period of time while police investigate the accident.

At this time, no information is available on the status of the motorcycle operator.
