19-year-old Stabbed In Homeless Encampment Near Home Depot
A man is suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen after an argument. Police searching for a blue RAV 4 possibly involved.
MANCHESTER, NH - Manchester police, fire, and AMR ambulance responded to March Ave in a homeless encampment behind Home Depot for a reported stabbing on Tuesday.
When they arrived at about 12:50 p.m. they found a 19-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen. Police officers who arrived at the scene first worked to control the bleeding until firefighters and medics arrived.
A homeless outreach team had arrived at the scene moments after the incident occurred and were able to assist the victim and provide information to investigators.

Police say through their investigation, they learned two men got into an argument. The argument turned physical and the 19-year-old man was stabbed. MPD Spokesperson Heather Hamel said that the injuries were not life-threatening. Hamel said "all involved parties have been identified and are known to one another. This does not appear to be a random incident."
Witnesses at the scene reported to police that several people came running out of the encampment and jumped into a waiting vehicle. A short time after the incident police issued a “Be On The Lookout” (BOLO) for a male driving a small blue SUV vehicle, officers were advised to use caution if the vehicle was located.

Manchester Police would like the public’s help in locating a 2010 blue Toyota Rav 4 with NH license plate 4972742. Police believe it may have been involved in the incident.
