New Hampshire Men Accused Of Road Racing On Interstate 93
Nickolas Quintal of Hooksett and Wyatt Adams of Derry face charges, including negligent driving, after an incident in Londonderry Saturday.

LONDONDERRY, NH — Two men face charges in Derry District Court after being accused of road racing on Interstate 93 on Saturday.
Around 8:30 p.m., a New Hampshire State Police trooper saw two cars that appeared to be road racing. The vehicles, a 2008 BMW coupe and a 2018 Infiniti Q50, entered the highway from the Exit 5 onramp on the southbound side of the highway.
“Both vehicles entered onto I-93 south and began to drive side by side,” Amber Lagace, a public information officer for the department, said. “The BMW and Infiniti simultaneously accelerated and commenced racing.”

The BMW was clocked at 128 mph, while the Inifiniti reached 131 mph. She said the speed limit on that section of highway is 65 mph.
Several troopers pulled the vehicles over and charged the drivers.

Nickolas J. Quintal, 20, of Hooksett, who was accused of driving the Infiniti, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child (passenger), road racing, reckless operation, and negligent driving. Wyatt H. Adams, 18, of Derry, was charged with road racing, reckless operation, and negligent driving while being accused of driving the BMW.
Both were released on personal recognizance and are due to appear before the Derry Circuit Court later.
