NRA President Backs Ovide at LFGC [VIDEO]
National Rifle Association President David Keene recently came to town.
Londonderry Fish & Game Club President Rick Olson Jr. was left nearly speechless as he came to the podium on Oct. 19 to welcome National Rifle Association President David Keene to his facility.
Keene was on hand to endorse gubernatorial candidate Ovide Lamontagne, as well as show his support for the rest of the Republican ticket in New Hampshire, including U.S. Representatives Frank Guinta and Charles Bass.
"This is the most important election believers in the second amendment have ever faced in their lifetime," Keene said.

"If this president is re-elected, you're going to have a small arms treaty signed from the United Nations," he added. "If this President is re-elected, you're going to have anti-gun justices appointed to the United States Supreme Court."
Lamontagne smiled to the crowd of about 40 club members as he traced back his experience as a hunter, first shooting a BB gun with his dad.

"Wouldn't it be nice for once for the people of New Hampshire to have a hunter as the governor of New Hampshire?" he asked the cheering audience.
Lamontagne also said that his daughter Brittany is leaving for boot camp today as the newest member of the New Hampshire National Guard.
The Republican candidate went on to joke that after Tom Brady wins the Super Bowl, he says that he is "going to Disney World," but after he becomes governor, he will say that he is "going hunting."
District 1 U.S. Rep. Frank Guinta told a story of the first time he spoke in Congress, when all of the representatives took the time to read the entire U.S. Constitution.
He was excited to have the opportunity to read the second amendment, which caused some chatter from some of the more tenured representatives.
"They said 'How did you get to read the second amendment?'" Guinta said. "I said, 'Live free or die, baby.'"
Crossing district lines to support the NRA was also District 2 U.S. Rep. Charles Bass.
"The NRA has done more to support me and support other good candidates in this state than any other group I can think of," Bass said. "They are always there, they are always reliable and they always support their friends."
Lamontagne presented Keene with a unique camoflauged 'Ovide' hat after his short address.
