Police Investigate Suspicious Death of Londonderry Woman

LONDONDERRY, NH — Police are investigating the suspicious death of Londonderry woman Maureen Argie, 41. Her body was discovered after police conducted a welfare check in a Londonderry home and discovered that Argie dead. The cause of her death is being investigated by the State Police with assistance of Londonderry police and the Attorney General's Office.

Senior Assistant Attorney General Peter Hinckley said authorities suspect Argie's death may have involved a crime, but he stressed that the investigation is very preliminary at this time.

The Medical Examiner's Office conducted an autopsy of her body Friday morning, and authorities are not releasing any further information at this time.
