Sex Images Of Ex-Girlfriend Posted On Website Leads To Jail Time
Dylan A. J. Beaton, 32, of Litchfield pleaded guilty to 6 felony counts of nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images.

MANCHESTER, NH — A Litchfield man pled guilty in Hillsborough County Superior Court Friday to six counts of nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images.
Dylan A.J. Beaton, 32, of Sherwood Drive in Litchfield, was accused of posting private sexual images of an ex-girlfriend to a “revenge pornography” website. Court paperwork indicated the victim was notified her personal photos appeared on a website and she contacted Manchester police. Manchester Detective Austin Goodman, who was assigned to the Domestic Violence Unit, began an investigation.
Goodman gathered information from the victim that indicated the only person that would have access to the photos and videos was Beaton, the victim’s former boyfriend. Goodman also interviewed the person who had notified the victim of the images and verified the images were on the website.

A search warrant was granted for Beaton’s Sherwood Drive address. Detectives executed the warrant on Jan. 21, 2022. Detectives gathered cell phones and several electronic devices, including gaming systems.
Through electronic forensic examination, the images were located on some of the electronic devices.

After further investigation, including additional interviews, and processing of forensic evidence, Goodman applied for and was granted a warrant for 12 felony counts of nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images. Beaton was out on bail when the warrants were issued and was also charged with bail violation for the acts discovered by detectives.
On Beaton’s guilty plea, Assistant County Attorney Ryan C. Dill argued for 2 – 4 years at the New Hampshire State Prison, with an additional suspended sentence. Beaton had previously been convicted of stalking the same victim.
Judge Diane Nicolosi sentenced Beaton to 8 months at the House of Corrections with probation and suspended sentences.
In a statement, the Hillsborough County Attorney’s Office commended Manchester Police Detective Goodman, and Heather Howell the Victim Advocate for the Hillsborough County Attorney's Office.
