Manchester SWAT Team Called After Armed Man Refuses To Surrender
Kevin Woods of Manchester was arrested on Pheasant Lane on Monday after being accused of threatening a woman with a gun.

MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester police responded to an incident on Pheasant Lane involving a woman saying she was threatened by a man with a gun on Monday.
Police arrived around 7:30 p.m. and made contact with the victim who had gotten out of the house. The woman told police that Kevin Woods, 55, had told her to leave the house. She said when she didn't immediately leave, Woods got a gun and threatened her, according to police.
Woods remained inside the home after police arrived.

"Given the uncertainty of the situation and the fact that he was believed to be armed, the Bearcat and SWAT team personnel were deployed," Heather Hamel, a spokeswoman from the department, noted.
Police said for more than an hour, a loudspeaker was used to call into the home, in an attempt to get Woods to surrender. He eventually came outside and was arrested without incident.

Woods was charged with felony criminal threatening and resisting arrest. He will be arraigned in Hillsborough Superior Court North at a future date.
