Vehicle Plows Into Landscapers; Workers Injured, Driver Flees

A group of commercial landscapers on Old Nashua Road were struck by a BMW which hit multiple mowers and leaving a trail of damage.

LONDONDERRY, NH — Londonderry police and firefighters responded to a call for a car that struck multiple landscapers at Old Nashua Road and Bayberry Lane on 4:11 p.m. Monday.

When police and firefighters arrived, they found a path of multiple mowers and vehicles had been struck by a silver BMW. Landscapers working in the area of the trailers saw the vehicle, and some were able to jump out of the way of the car.

Multiple people suffered injuries, it is believed only one was transported to the hospital.

Londonderry Police immediately found the operator of the BMW fled the scene on foot, and was reported to also be injured.

LPD Officers and a K9 searched the area of the Rolling Meadows development. After 30 minutes a male covered in blood was located and placed into custody. He was transported to LPD and LFD was requested to the police station to check the subject.

Multiple pieces of lawn care equipment was damaged as well as vehicles including trailers. The names on the equipment were labeled North Point Outdoor Property Services

Londonderry police are investigating the incident and we will update as more information becomes available.
