1) Londonderry weather: Muggy with a high in the mid-80s, and another day with a good chance of a thunderstorm, according to the National Weather Service.

2) Meeting tonight: The Solid Waste and Environment Committee convenes at 7 p.m. in the Sunnycrest Conference Room. What is the Solid Waste and Environment Committee? The committee's roots go back to 1988, when the town was confronting garbage and solid waste issues. The committee advises the selectmen–and town–on waste and recycling matters. 5) Historic political duel. Vice President Aaron Burr shot and killed Alexander Hamilton, his long-time foe, in a duel held on this day in 1804, according to History.com. Hamilton died of the wound on June 12, 1804.
