Here are SEVEN things you should know today in Londonderry!

5. Try-Athlon. This Sunday, Aug. 18, The Friends of Aine Foundation Kids Try-athlon and jump roping event will be held at the Bedford Memorial Town Pool complex at the corner of Nashua Road and County Road. All proceeds will go toward establishing a long term bereavement center with Home Health and Hospice care in Merrimack. You can find out more about the event by clicking here.
6. Hold his light in your heart. A candlelight vigil for Joshua Savyon and his family will be held Friday at 7 p.m. on the Village Green in Amherst. The 9-year-old, who was a black belt at ATA Martial Arts in Bedford, was killed in an alleged murder/suicide during a supervised visit with his father at the YWCA in Manchester. All are welcome to go honor and remember Joshua and show support for the family and friends left to grieve his death.
