1. TODAY'S FORECAST: Today will be cloudy with a high of 65 followed by showers and a low of 49 tonight.

2. TRICK-OR-TREATING IN LONDONDERRY: Londonderry Police Chief Bill Hart announced earlier this week that trick-or-treating will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31.

3. NO TRASH DELAY FOR COLUMBUS DAY: Trash pickup will be on a normal schedule for the week of Oct. 14 to Oct. 18. Make sure trash is placed at the curb by 7 a.m.

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: A powerful storm slams the islands of the West Indies, killing more than 20,000 people,on this day in 1780. Known as the Great Hurricane of 1780, it was the deadliest storm ever recorded.
