When Will I-93 Widening Resume?

Work is expected to begin again in April and May.

The Eagle-Tribune reported today that four construction projects totaling about $162 million are almost set to begin on the Interstate 93 widening effort between Exits 1 and 5.

According to the report, weather will determine the project startups, and construction action will move ahead during April and May.

Specific projects have different target dates of completion, spanning from the end of this year for Exit 1 work in Salem to 2016 for the Route 111 relocation work in Windham. Londonderry also has work at the Exit 5 interchange which includes Route 28 improvements. That is expected to be finished next year.
