- The 5-year-old boy who fell out of a window last week in Manchester has died. The boy fell from an apartment window in what "appears accidental" on Jan. 31 on Elm Street. After the third-story fall, the boy was taken to Elliot Hospital and airlifted to Boston. (Boston.com)
- The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services Manchester District Office was closed yesterday and will remain closed today, Feb. 8. The office at 1050 Perimeter Road had a pipe burst due to the extreme temperatures over the weekend. Normal operations at the location are expected to resume on Thursday, Feb. 9. - Manchester's Currier Museum has acquired a 17th-century painting fitting to celebrate Black History Month. The painting, dating back to 1650, depicts free Black people in Europe. "Black Men and Women in a Tavern" was created by artist David Teniers. (WMUR)
