Here are the top three stories today in Manchester:
- Police have an update on an incident that occurred last year at the Manchester BJ's Wholesale. Police have accused Michael Bussiere of pointing a gun at an employee in the store parking lot in December 2022. After an investigation, police identified Bussiere as the vehicle’s owner and issued a warrant for his arrest. On Monday, Bussiere turned himself in and was charged with criminal threatening with a deadly weapon. (Patch)
- Manchester school officials are refusing to provide information about the Parker-Varney School principal. Christopher MacDonald has been off the job since October, but no information has been leaked as to his abrupt absence. No other information has been provided at this point. - The Manchester Police Department's (MPD) 37th session of the Citizen's Police Academy is scheduled to begin on Apr. 13. The eight-week program is designed to inform residents about the role of MPD in the community and takes the form of both classroom and limited participation options if attendees choose.
