  1. On Saturday around 10:50 a.m., the airport communications center at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport received a call about a bomb threat against Spirit Airlines. According to the airport's official statement, the threat was made against Spirit Airlines flight 2025, traveling from Manchester to Tampa, FL. All passengers were removed from the aircraft and were rescreened as a K9 team searched the plane, the airport, and passenger bags. Once it was clear that the threat was unfounded, normal operations resumed. (Boston 25 News)
  2. With colder weather approaching, it's important to have enough heat for your home. Families struggling to pay energy costs may qualify to receive help from the state of New Hampshire. The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps with heating, fuel, and electricity costs. Those who are interested can learn more here. (Manchester School District, via Twitter)
  3. Manchester Memorial High School and Nashua North have decided that they will limit attendance to sporting events to allow only certain spectators. Now, only immediate family members will be allowed in the stands. This decision comes after a fight broke out outside a basketball game between the two schools last Tuesday night. Both Nashua and Manchester police departments are investigating the fight. Manchester will keep this policy in place throughout the winter sports season, and Nashua's policy will last at least the next few games. (WMUR)
