1 Taken to Hospital in Accident on DW Highway
It was the second accident with hospital transport at one intersection in less than a week.

One woman was transported to the hospital Monday following a car accident at the intersection of Daniel Webster Highway and Manchester Street – the second accident at that intersection in a week.
Lorraine Louie, 61, of Merrimack, was taken to St. Joseph Hospital for evaluation after the 2002 Honda Civic she was driving collided with a 2002 Mercedes S Class being driven by Sandhya Adhikari, 47, also of Merrimack.
Adhikari had two juvenile passengers in the car. None of them were transported to the hospital.

Police say they were called at 12:14 a.m. on Monday, May 27 to a two-accident at the intersection of Daniel Webster Highway and Manchester Street. Upon arrival they found two cars with heavy front end damage – one in the entrance to the former Digital Credit Union and Adhikari's car was about 30 feet from Manchester Street. Both cars had heavy front-end damage.
Police say on investigating the accident, it appears Louie was headed east on Manchester Street when she ran the stop sign and crashed into Adhikari, who was driving north on Daniel Webster Highway at the time.

The crash is still under investigation by the Merrimack Police patrol division. There was no evidence that alcohol or speed was a contributing factor to the crash.
This is the second accident at this location since May 21. On Tuesday of last week, police fire and rescue responded to a two-car accident that involved a town highway truck. Both drivers were transported to local hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries.
