2 Domestic Disturbance Calls Result in 3 Arrests

Police say couple assaulted each other at the end of November.

A Merrimack couple was arrested at the end of November when police were called to their home for a reported domestic disturbance.

Alison Davis, 53, of 8 Kearns Drive and Louis Davis, 57, of the same address, were arrested, police say, for assaulting one another during an altercation on Tuesday, Nov. 27.

Each was charged with one count of simple assault and they were each released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail. The Davises were scheduled to be in court on Wednesday, Nov. 28, to answer to the charges.

On Sunday, Dec. 2, Rhett L. Bartlett, 49, of Merrimack, was charged with two counts of simple assault and two counts of criminal mischief when  Merrimack Police responded to a residence on Cedar Lane for a reported disturbance in progress. 

At the residence, police say they learned a heated argument took place during which time Bartlett allegedly physically assaulted a subject within the home. Specifically, Bartlett was alleged to have grabbed the victim causing personal injury and damage to clothing and jewelry.

Bartlett was later released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear before the Merrimack district court on Dec. 4,to answer to the charges.
