MERRIMACK, N.H. - Almost four dozen units of new senior housing is being considered for a large parcel along Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack. According to the Union Leader, Streif, LLC recently filed a plan for "Overlook Estates" with the town's planning board.
According to a traffic study release in March, the development would result in 334 daily weekday trips, and just under 600 on Saturdays.
If approved, 47 two-bedroom condominiums will be constructed at 412 Daniel Webster Highway near East Chamberlain Road for residents who are 55 and older.

“Three of the proposed dwellings are triplexes, two are single-family homes and the balance are duplex style units,” Kellier Shamel, assistant planner for the town, said in a memo to the planning board.
Each residential unit will include its own garage and accessible garage entrance, and the development will house a common area clubhouse, according to the plans on file at town hall.
