5 Holiday Events in the Region This Weekend
Celebrate the holidays at some of these events Friday, Saturday and Sunday Dec. 14-16.

1. Breakfast with Santa. Enjoy Breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning. This is an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on Saturday December 15th from 8-10 a.m. at Uno's Chicago Grille on Amherst Street in Nashua. Tickets are $5 each and the proceeds benefit the school's parent/teacher committee. In addition to breakfast, digital copies of your child's picture with Santa will also be available for purchase for only $5. For less than the cost of one picture with Santa at the mall you get breakfast and a picture with no waiting in line!
2. Holiday music live. From Silver Bells and White Christmas to Home Alone and The Polar Bear Express, celebrate the holiday “Pops”-style with the Nashua Symphony Orchestra & Chorus at this festive family event from 7:30-9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15. Tickets are $27 for adults; $22 for seniors and $12 for students with a valid ID. The show is at the Keefe Auditorium, 117 Elm St., Nashua. 3. The Nutcracker. Northern Ballet Theatre will reprise its traditional version of the Nutcracker at the Keefe Auditorium in Nashua, Dec. 15 and 16 at 2 p.m. This classic ballet has been performed in the Nashua area for 26 years. Choreographed by founder, Doreen Cafarella, The Nutcracker has been carefully restaged and restored to its original, traditional form by new Artistic Director Tina Cassidy. Tickets range from $18-$22 and are on sale now. To purchase tickets, call 603-889-8408 Mastercard and Visa are accepted. Tickets will also be available at the door one hour prior to the show. 4. Santa's Big Party. Santa Claus is having a big party at Charmingfare Farm and you're invited! Head to the Charmingfare Farm on Saturday Dec. 15, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. To get to the party you must first take a 30-minute horse-drawn sleigh ride through the Christmas trail to the secret party location, where Santa himself awaits you! Santa and Mrs. Claus will also be joined by many of their costumed helpers and elves, who will be assisting them with music and activities. Sugar cookies and hot cocoa are available for everyone to enjoy around a bonfire. When you are ready to leave the party just climb aboard "The Tractor Train Ride" to see Santa's live reindeer! 5. Humbug, bah! The annual Palace Theatre tradition continues on Thursday with Charles Dickens’ classic "A Christmas Carol". The show features icon characters like Scrooge and Tiny Tim, and is filled with lively song and dance featuring over fifty actors. Scrooge, known for his penny pinching ways, is visited by three ghosts on a snowy Christmas Eve. These ghostly visits reveal Scrooge’s past, present, and future to him and fill him with new found hope and joy in the Christmas season! Voted “Best Theatre Event of the Year” in Manchester by the Hippo Press readers, this show has fast become an audience favorite at the Palace.
