5 Things: Celebrate Grand Opening of New DCU

1. Ribbon cutting. The public is invited to join the Merrimack Chamber of Commerce as it celebrates the grand opening of the new DCU (Digital Federal Credit Union) location in Merrimack. at 19 Premium Outlets Boulevard. The event takes place at 8:30 a.m. today with a special Ribbon Cutting ceremony at 8:45 a.m. Complimentary refreshments will be served immediately following. Come meet Branch Manager Sanela Zulic and the entire DCU Merrimack team and tour the newly-built 5,000 square foot branch. The new location offers a full-compliment of financial services and amenities including an Internet Cafe featuring iPad technology, a self-service coinc counting machine, safe deposit boxes, a drive-up ATM, a business night depository, and offices for investment and financial planning. 

2. Ravens win. It was certainly no Patriots' Super Bowl, but congratulations to the Baltimore Ravens on their 34-31 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII. It may not have been pretty in the beginning, but after a 35-minute stoppage for a stadium blackout the 49ers came back to make it a pretty interesting and close game. Here's to the Pats back in the Super Bowl in 2014! Only 6 months till pre-season.

3. School Board meeting. The Merrimack School Board will meet in the Matthew Thornton Room at the Town Hall tonight at 7:30 p.m. On the agenda are discussions about the proposed warrant articles for the annual district meeting and preparation for the bond hearing regarding the consolidation of the special services and SAU offices into a new building.
