5 Things: Eat Out for a Good Cause
Homestead to donate 50 percent of food proceeds to N8's Cause on Wednesday.

1. Eat out for a good cause. The Homestead Restaurant is helping with a benefit for N8's Cause raising money for Nathan Fogg, a local man battling Hodgkins Lymphoma. The benefit night is this Wednesday, and printing off the flyer above and bringing it to the Homestead while you dine will put 50 percent of your food proceeds toward N8's Cause. Additonally, on Thursday, March 7, Shorty's in Bedford and Thursday, March 14, Shorty's in Manchester will both donate 15 percent of their food sales with the flyer to N8's Cause.
2. Closed for the season. The Department of Public Works announced Monday that due to the mild weather forecast for the next several days, the ice skating rinks on O'Gara Drive are officially being closed for the season. The DPW would like to thank the tireless volunteers for their hard work this winter to keep the rinks open as long as possible. See you next year!
