5 Things: Special Town Council Meeting Tonight

Powerball was drawn Wednesday for a $260M jackpot, did you miss the winning numbers?

Here are five things you should know as you start your Thursday.

1. Special meeting. The Town Council will meet tonight at 7 in the Matthew Thornton Room for a special meeting to appoint Brenda Dulong as the Deputy Town Clerk/Tax Collector.

2. Jackpot drawing. Did you buy a Powerball ticket for Wednesday night's drawing? Here are the numbers in case you missed them 13-14-17-43-54 PB 15. The jackpot is worth $261 million and a single jackpot winner would take home more than $160 million in a lump sum payout (before taxes). Good luck!

3. March Madness. The brackets are filled with 64 teams vying for the coveted Final Four win and the 32 first-round games start today at noon. This is your last chance to fill out those brackets you've been putting off. Fill yours out and then check out who the President Obama picked.

4. Draft time. From Merrymac Games and Comics Facebook page: "Magic Players: Starting on Wednesday March 27. We will begin holding regular Wednesday night drafts starting at 6:30 p.m. Cost will be $12, for a keep draft, in other words what you pull to build your deck you keep, with a prize pool on top. Let your friends know and invite them to come in and play."
