What's Open and Closed in Merrimack on Columbus Day?

Monday is Columbus Day and while many towns and schools have the day off to observe the holiday, Merrimack's Town Offices will be open for business, and meetings will be held as scheduled.

Unlike last year, Merrimack School District will be in session on Monday. 

However, if you want to hit the library, you can do so on Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. The Library will be closed on Monday and open for regular hours on Tuesday.

Post offices and most banks are also closed on Monday.

Most retail stores, restaurants, gyms, and supermarkets are open, but may be observing special weekend or holiday hours. Call ahead if you want to be sure before you head out.
