'Back to School Creep' Invading Local Stores?
Is it too soon for back-to-school supplies to be at the front of retail stores?

Amherst Patch's Robert Michaelson discovered something "shocking" during a visit to Walmart on Thursday.
Michaelson says:
School just got out last month, but apparently retailers are already gearing up for back to school shopping. All the usual school supplies can be found cramped together right near Walmart's entrance.
It is same as always, but it just seems a bit early. Retailers have been known to start pushing holiday items earlier and earlier, called the Holiday Creep, and it seems education has joined the trend.
Binders and notebooks are on display, but I bet most kids would rather not be reminded that school is only a few months away.
It's true of other places, too. I was in the Dollar Tree in Merrimack on Tuesday and back-to-school supplies were already at the front of the store.
What do you think? Is it too early to be pushing school supplies, or is it never too early to get that back to school shopping done?
