Breaking: Merrimack Schools Cancelled Friday

In preparation for Winter Storm Nemo, classes will not be held in SAU 26

Merrimack Superintendent of Schools Marge Chiafery has given the official word. There will be no school for Merrimack students on Friday, Feb. 8.

The looming forecast of blizzard-like conditions that will accompany Winter Storm Nemo, mean heavy snow, high wind and poor visibility on the roadways is likely at points throughout the day.

Schools around Southern New Hampshire have been calling classes for the last several hours. The Academy of Science and Design in Nashua has also called off classes.
