BREAKING: Police Searching for Beret-Bedecked Bank Robber
People's United Bank in Pennichuck Square was robbed Friday morning.
The Merrimack Police Department announced at 11 a.m. that it is involved in a bank robbery investigation at Pennichuck Square.
The bank in Pennichuck Square is a People's United Bank and it is at the intersection of Continental Boulevard and Route 101A.
Police describe the suspect as 5'6" tall, wearing a dark suit and beret. Police ase asking that people avoid the area for the next hour or two.

A sign has been hung on the door to People's United Bank saying that it is closed temporarily. There is no word at this time on when it will reopen. Nearby branches are at 146 Main St., Nashua, 125 Daniel Webster Highway, Nashua and Lorden Plaza in Milford.
