Charges Dropped Against Man Arrested in Alleged Road Rage Incident

Police said William Farrell had squirted sunscreen lotion on another driver and her car.

Charges have been dropped against a Nashua man who police said squirted a woman and her car with sunscreen earlier this year, according to WMUR.

William Farrell turned himself in to police in mid-May on a warrant for simple assault over a road rage incident on May 3 that police said involved him getting out of his car and squirting a woman and her car with sunscreen lotion.

The alleged incident happened after the woman beeped at Farrell to prompt him to drive when the light turned green at a traffic light on Route 101A, police said.

According to WMUR, Farrell has disputed the allegations since the incident and police said they dropped the charge in part because there are questions about whether the incident really occurred in Merrimack or in Nashua.
