Criminal Trespass at Vacant House

Merrimack police said the teen was found on the back porch of a vacant house.

A 19-year-old local man faces charges of criminal trespassing and being a minor in possession of an alcoholic beverage after being found at a vacant house on Dahl Road.

Joseph Schneider, 19, of 5 Surrey Lane, Merrimack, was charged May 6 after police received a call about a person inside the house, which is on the market to be sold.

Arriving police officers saw a car adjacent to the house and set up a perimeter. Upon searching the house, police said they found Schneider on the back port with a bottle of Bud Light.

He was released on $1,500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court in Merrimack on the charges May 20.
