Does Budweiser Water Down Its Beer?

A multi-million lawsuit alleges beer-making giant Anheuser-Busch InBev adds water to its beer before bottling, thereby cutting the alcohol content labeled on the bottles.

Is Budweiser's parent company Anheuser-Busch InBev watering down its beer to create a higher profit margin?

That's what beer lovers from across the country are alleging in a multi-million dollar class action lawsuit against the beer-making giant, according to a story on NBC News today.

The suit, filed in several states including Pennsylvania and California, claim consumers are being cheated out of the alcohol content stated on 10 beers' labels. According to one of the lead lawyers on the case, the claim is corroborated by former Anheuser-Busch employees at the companies 13 breweries who've said the practice happens before bottling.
