DUI Charge For Driver In Merrimack Crash: Police
Merrimack police said Brett Martinez was charged with drunken driving after crashing into a mailbox on Turkey Hill Road.
MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack police said a Massachusetts man was drunk when he crashed into a mailbox on Turkey Hill Road over the weekend. Brett Martinez, 29, of Lowell, was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with driving under the influence. He was released on bond.
Master Patrolman Stephen Wallin said the crash happened at about 12:15 a.m. near McQuestion Road. Martinez showed signs of impairment at the scene and was taken into custody after an investigation, Wallin said.
Martinez was scheduled for an arraignment Dec. 27 in Merrimack District Court.
