DUI, Marijuana Charges For Merrimack Man
Merrimack police said Christopher Burt was arrested after an officer saw him drive over a double-yellow line.

MERRIMACK, NH -- A Merrimack man was arrested Friday on drunken driving and marijuana charges. Police said Christopher Burt (pictured), 26, was pulled over by an officer on a town road at about 12:45 a.m. The officer claimed Burt cross over a double-yellow line while driving.
"While speaking with the driver, the officer noticed signs of impairment," Merrimack Police Chief Denise Roy said in a statement. "After a brief investigation, the driver, Christopher Burt, was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor."
Burt was also charged with possession of less than 3/4 of an ounce of marijuana. He was released on bond pending an arraignment September 27 in Merrimack District Court.
