Monday, Dec. 3, 2012

7:45 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a residence on Canterbury Court for an unknown medical emergency.

Ambulance 1 was cancelled by dispatch after it was determined to be a false alarm by a child; no emergency was in progress at this location.

4:19 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a single family residence on Colman Path for a carbon monoxide alarm activation.

Engine 1 responded and found a false alarm smoke due to a system malfunction.

Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012

1:03 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a single family home on Bedford Road for an adult male who was bleeding.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an adult male with gastrointestinal bleeding. The patient was treated and transported to the Elliot Hospital.

3:49 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a multi-family home on Turnbuckle Lane for a possible overdose.

Ambulance 1 responded and found an adult female with an intentional overdose of medication. The patient was treated and transported to the Elliot Hospital.

11:02 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a multifamily residence on Wren Court for an elderly male with back pain.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an elderly male who had back pain and difficulty breathing. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

4:14 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a multi-family home on Turnbuckle Lane for an adult male who was bleeding.

Ambulance 1and Engine 2 responded and found an adult male who was bleeding. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital

5:32 p.m. Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a single family home on Wasserman Heights for an elderly female who was unable to stand.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found an elderly female with nausea, vomiting and general weakness. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

8:27 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a multifamily residence on Indian Rock for an elderly female who was unresponsive.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an elderly female who was showing signs of alcohol intoxication. The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

8:58 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the intersection of Baboosic Lake Road and Daniel Webster Highway for a reported motor vehicle accident.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found a car had hit a telephone pole causing it to break, and then had left the scene of the accident. Power to the Merrimack Public Library and Mobil on The Run had been lost.

A short time later Engine 1 was requested to respond to a residence on Indian Rock Road to check an adult male subject who was suspected of being the driver of the vehicle that left the scene. The subject was assessed and refused transport. The subject was left in the custody of the Merrimack Police Department. 

8:58 PM Station 1 was dispatched to the Merrimack Public Library for an electrical odor.

Engine 1 responded and found electrical problems within the building that related to the previous motor vehicle accident. The main power to the building was cut until it could be inspected/repaired by an electrician.

Wednesday, Dec. 05, 2012

4:15 a.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to the Merrimack Public Library for a fire alarm activation.

Engine 1 responded on a reduced assignment and found a false alarm at the sprinkler system due to the building being without power from a previous motor vehicle accident. The building was checked to ensure there were no problems and the system was secured until power could be restored.

7:38 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the Merrimack Transfer Station for an adult male who was weak and sweating.

Ambulance 1 responded and found an adult male with possible cardiac symptoms. The patient was treated and transported to the Catholic Medical Center.

9:52 a.m. Station 1 was dispatched to Merrimack Health Associates for a lift assist.

Ambulance 1 responded and found an adult female who needed help getting up. Ambulance personnel assisted the patient and transport was refused.

8:58 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to the intersection of Tinker Road and Continental Boulevard for a reported motor vehicle accident.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found a two-car motor vehicle accident. An adult female was assessed and refused transport. Another adult female was found to have an injured wrist. This patient was treated and refused transport.

10:51 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a residence on Coventry Court for an unknown medical emergency.

Ambulance 1 responded and found an adult male not feeling well. The patient was assessed and refused transport.

11:10 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a residence on Pinetree Lane for an elderly female with chest pain.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an elderly female who had cardiac symptoms. The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

1:21 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the Merrimack Middle School for a juvenile male with a possible neck injury from a fall.

Ambulance 1 responded and found a juvenile male with neck pain. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital

4:13 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to The South Merrimack Christian Academy for a fire alarm activation.

Engine 1 and 2 responded and found a false alarm due to a faulty detector. The system was reset and management was advised to contact their alarm contractor.

3:36 p.m.: Station 2 was dispatched to the area of May Drive for an illegal outside fire.

Engine 2 responded and searched the area without finding any outside fires.

9:18 a.m.: Station 2 was dispatched to a multifamily residence on Winrow Drive to assist police.

Engine 2 responded and stood by for the Police Department with gaining entry to a unit for a welfare check. Further investigation found the occupant was not at the residence.

8:11 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a single family home on Eagle Drive for an elderly male who had fallen.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an elderly male who had fallen and struck his head. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

9:11 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a multi-family residence on Bowers Landing Drive for a medical alarm activation.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found an accidental activation, no medical issue found.

11:10 a.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a residence on Scotchpine Lane for an adult male with difficulty breathing.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found an adult male with difficulty breathing The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

1:48 p.m. Station 1 was dispatched to the Merrimack High School to standby to assist the Police Department.

Ambulance 1 responded and found a female student with emotional issues. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph Hospital.

4:39 p.m.: Station 2 was dispatched to the Digital Credit Union for an odor of gas.

Engine 2 responded and found an odor that appeared to be from the nearby wastewater facility.
