FIRE LOG: Responded to an Assault in Progress

Monday Nov. 26, 2012

6:35 a.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to the Merrimack Premium Outlets Mall for a fire alarm activation.

Engine 1 and 2 responded and found a false alarm at Saks Off 5TH Avenue, Unit 201, smoke detector activated by workmen. The alarm was reset and returned to service.

10:58 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the Merrimack Medical Center for an adult female with chest pain.

Ambulance 1 responded and found an adult female with chest pain and cardiac symptoms. The patient was treated and transported to the Catholic Medical Center.

11:57 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a residence on Berkeley Street for a carbon monoxide detector activation.

Engine 1 responded and performed air monitoring. Slightly elevated CO levels were detected and an adult female was assessed for possible exposure. The source of CO was thought to be a car that was previously warming up in the garage. The patient refused transport.

3:46 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a multi family residence at Coventry Court for an elderly female who had fallen.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an elderly female who had fallen and had her foot trapped beneath a piece of furniture. The patient was extricated, treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

6:23 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a residence on Cassie Lane for an adult female with chest pain.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found an adult female complaining of chest pain. The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

7:18 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a multi family residence on Stearns Lane for a medical alarm activation.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and an accidental activation, no medical issue found.

8:23 p.m. Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to the vicinity of 98 Turkey Hill Road for a reported motor vehicle accident.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found a two-car head on MVA. An adult female was assessed and refused transport. An adult male was treated and transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital

Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012

3:35 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to a residence on Bishop Street for an elderly female with difficulty breathing.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an elderly female with nausea and vomiting. The patient was treated and transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital

7:19 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to stage at a residence on Kearns Lane for a domestic assault in progress.

Ambulance 1 responded and staged until cleared to approach the scene by Police. Ambulance 1 was then diverted to assess an adult female in custody. The patient was assessed and refused transport.

9:28 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a residence on Thornton Road West for an adult male who was unresponsive.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found no medical issue.

Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012

7:19 a.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to a residence on Sherwood Lane for an odor of gas.

Engine 1 and 2 responded and found no gas issue at the residence.

12:47 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to GT Advanced Technologies for an adult male who was unconscious and unresponsive.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an adult male who was unresponsive. The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

1:25 p.m.: Station 1 and 2 were dispatched to the intersection of Boston Post Road and Milford Road for a reported motor vehicle accident.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 2 responded and found a two-car MVA. Both drivers were assessed and refused transport.

2:58 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to Dr. Timmerman’s Office for an adult female with difficulty breathing.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an adult female who had difficulty breathing and possible cardiac symptoms. The patient was treated and transported to the Catholic Medical Center.

Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012

9:27 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to Northeast Credit Union to reset the fire alarm.

Utility1 responded and assisted the building contractor in resetting the fire alarm panel.

9:48 a.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the Merrimack Middle School for a juvenile male with a possible broken arm.

Ambulance 1 responded and found a juvenile male with a broken lower arm. The patient was treated and transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.

1:29 p.m.: Station 2 was dispatched to Colt Refining to assist the occupant.

Engine 2 responded and found the building sprinkler system had a valve failure. The building owner was instructed to call the sprinkler contractor for repairs.

4:05 p.m.: Station 1 was dispatched to the Common Man restaurant for an adult female coughing up blood.

Ambulance 1 and Engine 1 responded and found an adult female with respiratory issues. The patient was assessed and refused transport.

4:07 PM Station 2 was dispatched to a residence on Scenic Vista Way for carbon monoxide detector activation.

Engine 2 responded and found no CO issues, alarm due to a defective detector. The occupant was advised to replace the detector.
