Flash Flood Watch in Effect for Merrimack
Advisory extends across most of Southern New Hampshire.

A flash flood watch is now in effect for Bedford and surrounding communities in Hillsborough County.
The advisory extends through through Wednesday evening and ends 12 a.m. Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service, showers and thunderstorms moving through New Hampshire have the potential to produce heavy downpours of rain accumulating 1-2 inches in a short period of time, which may lead to poor drainage in addition to the possibility of local rivers and streams spilling over their banks.
