Four Injured in Accident That Closed Baboosic Lake Road

Operators of a car and motorcycle and their passengers all transported to area hospitals following crash.

Four people were injured in a crash between a car and a motorcycle that closed a portion of a main thoroughfare through town Saturday afternoon.

Police responded to Baboosic Lake Road between Bean Road and Mitchell Street around 1:30 p.m. for the crash that was reported with four unknown injuries. As a result of the accident, the road was closed for about three hours while injured parties were transported out and the scene was investigated and cleared.

At the scene, they found a vehicle driven by Stephanie Webb, 21 of 450 S. Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, had collided with a 2006 Honda 1300c motorcycle operated by Kevin Winders, 25, of 7 Autumn Lane, Merrimack.

Both Webb and her passenger were taken to St. Joseph Hospital while Winders and his passenger were both transported to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatining injuries.

Preliminary investigation determined that Weber was heading west on Baboosic Lake Road in the area of Mitchell Street and Winders was heading east when the vehicles collided.
