Dispatcher. The Amherst Public Safety Communications Center is seeking applicants for the position of full time emergency services dispatcher. The center provides an array of emergency communications services for police, fire, EMS and public works in the town of Amherst. Preference will be given to candidates with prior emergency service dispatching experience. Base pay range, dependent upon experience, is $18 to $21.92 per hour, in addition to an excellent benefits package. Night custodian. The Town of Merrimack is accepting applications for a part-time custodian to fill a nights position within the Building and Grounds Division of Public Works. Employees in this position perform unskilled and semi-skilled labor in the cleaning and maintenance of public buildings and grounds. Outside work including mowing, salting, sanding, and clearing walkways of ice and snow may be required on an as needed basis. Pay scale for this position is currently $11.01 – $15.88. This position is currently assigned to primarily clean the Police Department, but may also assist in maintenance of the facility and grounds. Incumbent may be assigned to assist with other division duties as needed. This is a 20-22 hour per week position. The current schedule is 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and two to three hours every other Saturday. Town applications are available online above or at the Merrimack Town Hall, Human Resources Office, 6 Baboosic Lake Road, NH 03054.
