Man Adds Charge by Refusing to Let Police Arrest Him
Police say Merrimack man refused to surrender when officers arrived to arrest him on warrants out of Nashua.

A Merrimack man wanted on a theft charge out of Nashua added a couple more charges on the arrest when he refused to surrender himself to the police officers who arrived at his house.
Tyler M. Letourneau, 21, of 302 Continental Boulevard, Merrimack, was arrested June 9, on charges of theft by unauthorized taking, out of Nashua, and resisting arrest and breach of bail conditions in Merrimack.
Acccording to a press release out of Merrimack Police Department, officers from Nashua and Merrimack arrived at Letourneau's home to arrest him on the theft warrant from Nashua Police and an electronic bench warrant out of Nashua's district court at 6:22 p.m. Sunday.

Letourneau refused to let police into the house and wouldn't surrender to them, so a search warrant was completed to gain access into Letourneau's home.
Police had to force entry into the home, at which time Letourneau was located and taken into custody without further incident.

While processing Letourneau, police learned that he had recently been released on bail and his bail conditions prohibited him from committing any federal, state or local crimes.
Letourneau was held on $2,000 cash bail and he was scheduled to appear before the 9th Circuit Court, District Division, in Merrimack on June 10 for arraignment.
