Man Charged After Leaving Accident at Another Accident Scene
The following information was provided by Merrimack Police. An arrest does not indicated a conviction.

A Merrimack Police Officer on the scene of a minor motor vehicle accident last week ended up leaving to chase down a van that struck a mailbox at the original accident scene and then drove off.
Police arrested Larry Hall, 79, of 7 Gail Road, Merrimack, on one count of conduct after an accident on Tuesday, Sept. 24.
Police were at the scene a minor accident on Joey Road around 5 p.m. when a van traveling south on the road hit a mailbox at the accident scene and continued driving. The officer left the accident scene and caught up to the vehicle involved on Route 101A shortly there after.
Hall was arrested for his conduct in leaving the accident scene. He was released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and ordered to appear in Merrimack's district court to answer to the misdemeanor charge.
