Man Found Drunk on Back Porch Arrested for Trespassing

A Florida man was arrested early Sunday morning after Merrimack residents reported a man on their back porch who they didn't know.

Officers found Dennis Jones, 25, of S. Daytona Beach, Fla., still on the porch, around 1:30 a.m. He was very intoxicated, police say.

Jone refused to identify himself and wouldn't give officers an explanation as to why he was at this home, police say.

He was arrested and subsequently identified.

Jones was charged with criminal trespass and prowling and he was later released to a sober adult on $1,500 personal recognizance bail. He is scheduled to be arraigned at the 9th Circuit Court, Merrimack District Division, on July .
