Merrimack Fire Respond To Tree And Wires Down
Merrimack firefighters, police and Eversource responded to a tree down across the road and on the wire on West Thornton Road.
MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack firefighters and police responded to West Thornton Road at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday for a tree across the road and wires down. A large tree came down in the wind and landed on the power lines causing an immediate outage to the area residents. Eversource was called to the scene, and fire and police blocked the road awaiting their arrival.
When Eversource arrived they worked to remove the tree from the road and power lines. Power was restored to several area residences.
No one was injured in the incident.
