Merrimack Man Charged With Felony-Level Theft
Police say Craig Massua stole more than $1,500 worth of items from a local home.

A Merrimack man was charged with felony-level theft when he turned himself to police on Feb. 14 on an outstanding warrant.
Craig Massua, 27, of 7 Profile Drive, Merrimack, was charged with theft by unauthorized taking for a theft that was discovered during an unrelated investigation that began on Nov. 26.
Merrimack Police say they were investigating a theft from a local residence and as part of the investigation, while speaking with the victims, learned of additional items that had been stolen, unrelated to the initial investigation.

Upon further investigation, a warrant was issued for Massua's arrest. The value of the missing property that Massua is accused of stealing exceeds $1,500, making it a class A felony.
Massua was released on $3,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear before the Merrimack 9th District Circuit Court on March 7 to
answer to the charge. A class A felony is punishable by up to 7½ to 15 years in prison and up to a $4,000 fine.
