Merrimack Man Faces Numerous Charges in Maine
Police accuse David Voight of Merrimack of burglary and trafficking dangerous knives among other charges.

A Merrimack man was arrested in York, Maine, on Nov. 29, on a slew of charges that include burglary and trafficking dangerous knives, according to an article on SeacoastOnline.com.
David Voight, 22, of 25 David Road was arrested when an observant neighbor noticed some suspicious activity in their neighborhood at the end of last month. Voight was charged with burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking dangerous knives, operating with a suspended license, and arrested him on a warrant out of New Hampshire, according to Sgt. Thomas Baran and Officer Matt Calcina.
According to police, they were called to a neighborhood where a car had parked on the side of the road and the occupant had walked down the road. Police stopped a man, Voight, who was walking out of the woods and who gave them a false name. Upon further investigation it was determined there was a warrant out for Voight's arrest in New Hampshire and police also allegedly found numerous stolen items in Voight's car and in the woods.

Voight is scheduled to appear Tuesday, Jan. 8, in York County Superior Court in Alfred.
