Merrimack Police: DWI For Amherst Man
Merrimack police said Nickolas Lapierre was arrested on a DWI charge on Route 101A.

MERRIMACK, NH — Merrimack police last week arrested on Amherst man on a driving while intoxicated charge. Nickolas Lapierre, 22, was arrested August 23 at about 11:15 p.m.
Police said an officer stopped Lapierre's vehicle on Route 101A for a vehicle infraction.
"While speaking with the driver, the officer noticed signs of impairment," Merrimack Police Captain Brian Levesque said in a statement. "After a brief investigation, the driver, Nickolas Lapierre, was arrested and charged with (DWI)."

Lapierre was released on $1,000 bond pending an an arraignment.
