Merrimack Police Growing Beards for Charity

Why are Merrimack Police officers not shaving? The month of February is "Donate to Insulate."

According to the Merrimack Police Department's Facebook page, officers had to raise money for the Special Olympics of New Hampshire's Winni Dip to be able to sport these fancy beards for the month. Don't be surprised when an officer is seen driving down the road with facial hair, it's all for a good cause.

Hudson Police are also growing beards for the Wini Dip during the month of February.
