Merrimack Police National Night Out
Merrimack is participating in the 35th annual National Night Out with a festival at Rollins Park.

CONCORD, NH — Merrimack is participating in the 35th annual National Night Out with a festival at Abbie Griffin Park Tuesday. The event, hosted by Merrimack police, is at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free and there will be food, music, children's activities and a movie.
"National Night Out is America’s night out against crime," Merrimack police said in a statement. "The annual event is held throughout the United States to promote cooperation between police departments and communities. This event is designed to heighten crime prevention and drug prevention awareness; generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs; strengthen neighborhood spirit and police partnerships within the community; and send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back."

- Merrimack Police Volunteers will be running the water balloon toss

- Nashua Community College Culinary School is going to be bringing Minion Themed cookies
- Broadway Bound - Duck Pond Game. Dancers will also perform that do the Minion's YMCA.
- Movie: Despicable Me 3 at 8 p.m.
Police departments across New Hampshire, including Concord, Nashua, Salem and Portsmouth, are participating in National Night Out.
